Legal Consultation

U.S. citizens can visit Mongolia without a visa for up to 90 days for tourism or short-term visits. Currently, there are no specific legal provisions for international students in Mongolia. If any legal issues arise, interns are advised to contact the U.S. Embassy for assistance.

Insurance Guidelines

Insurance coverage for incoming interns will depend on their individual plans. Most U.S.-based insurance does not cover services abroad. Interns with international insurance should confirm that Mongolia is included in their coverage. For added security, purchasing insurance from a Mongolian provider for the duration of the two-month stay is recommended.
